Fishing!

For those interested in fishing there are fine opportunities for it in our area.

In Jokkmokk municipality there are sold several fishing license. Some waters are private and there we can not fish at all.

Some water is transferred to different fishing associations or village communities. And some are state waters where you can fish with a fishing license.

On the mountain hike it is not permitted to fish in national parks. With the exception of Padjelanta National Park. There you may fish in a "corridor" along Padjelanta trail.

The card you need is the Länsstyrelsens card for Jokkmokk municipality. It costs 50:-SEK for a day, 100:-SEK for 3 days and 175:-SEK for 7 days. In addition, there is a annual card for 350:-SEK

As an adult you are allowed to bring your children under the age of 16 on this card.

Hunting!


In our area you can hunt many different animals. Village communities and Sami hunters hunts elk in the autumn.

During the late winter many hunt grouse. In order to hunt grouse, you must buy a hunting licenses.
